Cowlitz Black Bears Rebrand

Now up to bat are the Cowlitz Black Bears. Now this is a team that I struggled with trying to give them a new identity. I thought the current logo was too simple but was unsure how to give them a more complex logo while still maintaining a rather "tame" look. I finally settled on a logo that was similar to the original while still having plenty of new elements in it. As for the secondary, I went with a simple bear print with the Cowlitz "C" on it.

I went with a pinstriped home jersey similar to the Bend Elks simply because I liked the way it look with the black sleeves and orange piping. The away is very simple gray jersey while the alternate replaces the black sleeves with orange, removes the pinstripes, and adds the logo in the upper left chest.

Comments and critique is always welcome. Up next will be the Medford Rogues.

Corvallis Knights Rebrand

The next team up is the Corvallis Knights. This is one of the original teams from the league's inaugural 2005 season although the franchise played in other leagues from 1990-2004. I decided to give Corvallis a brand new identity by capitalizing on their team name and adding an actual knight to the logo. "Corvallis" is added above the knight's head for the primary while the secondary simply removes the city. The tertiary is just the letter "c" in a shield and was originally planned for the alternate jersey but I opted against it. Instead, the tertiary will be used on promotional material.

For the jerseys I decided to utilize more of the crimson seen in the logo by putting it on the sleeves as well as the bill of the hats. All three jerseys also use crimson piping. The alternate is the only jersey without the player's number listed on the front.

As always, feel free to comment and tell me what you like and dislike. Up next will be the Cowlitz Black Bears.

Bend Elks Rebrand

For Bend I wanted a logo that seemed simple but was still more complex than the original. Taking liberties with the color shade and script, I added a baseball with elk antlers over the top of a team-colored baseball diamond. The secondary logo just removes the diamond and antlers while keeping the baseball but also changing "Bend" to "Elks."

For the new jersey, I replace the dark gold home jersey with a new pinstriped jersey that I feel fits the team's new identity better. The away jersey is a simple grey without any accents while the new alternate uses the gold with black accents.

Opinions always welcome. Corvallis Knights will be next.

Bellingham Bells Rebrand

I'll be doing all teams in alphabetical order so the first one up was the Bellingham Bells. I liked the original logo but I thought a slight change in design could be nice. I added more white and changed the design of the bell while removing the rope border that never quite made sense to me. I utilized more teal than the original logo as well.

Their current jerseys were too simple in my opinion so I added some teal piping and used the teal for a new alternate jersey.

Opinions welcome! Next up are the Bend Elks.

West Coast League Rebranded Logo

So here is the starting point for my rebrand of the West Coast League: a new logo. The current logo is fairly simple so I went with a baseball overlaid with a map where the league operates and added the words "West Coast League" in crimson.
